Christopher L. Kramer, MD received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign and graduated medical school from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his Neurology residency and fellowship in Neurocritical Care at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona and Minnesota, respectively. He is board certified in Neurology, Neurocritical Care, and Neurosonology. Dr. Kramer joined the faculty at the University of Chicago as a member of the neurocritical care and acute stroke teamssince 2015 and is currently an Assistant Professor and the Neurocritical Care Fellowship Program Director. Dr. Kramer is a productive academician with several peer-reviewed publications, numerous internal and external leadership positions, journal responsibilities, and educational endeavors. He is committed to providing high-quality evidence-based individualized and compassionate care to all patients suffering from acute stoke and other ailments commonly encountered both inside and outside of the neurointensive care unit.
